Peter Gareiss, Ph.D.
Pete Gareiss, Ph.D. has broad expertise in interdisciplinary biomedical research with primary expertise in biophysical chemistry, chemical biology, and high throughput screening as applied to the identification and characterization of compounds with therapeutic or biologic utility. His research has focused on the development and management of chemical libraries, the design and implementation of biochemical and cellular based assays for screening, and the biophysical characterization of biomolecular interactions. His graduate work was completed at the University of Rochester in 2008, after which he was a post-doctoral associate at Yale University. Pete joined the YCMD team in 2010 and has focused on assay development, technology evaluation, and high throughput screening.
