Assay Design

If you have an idea for a screening project, YCMD can work with you to help identify and design an assay suitable for high throughput screening. We support both target-based (screening based on a single molecular target) and phenotypic (screening based on functional biology) screening approaches.

Assay Throughput

We typically minituarize assays to 384-well plate format, but can also accommodate 96-well plate based assays.

Assay Detection Methods

HTS-amenable assays typically rely on changes in the absorbance, luminescence or fluorescence signals as common assay outputs. We have instrumentation to support a variety of assay detection methods , including platereaders , real-time kinetic screening and high-throughput microscopy imaging.
